Life sketch Of Baba Hardasram Saheb.

Satguru Sant Baba Hardasram is known as Godhriwala all over the world .His simple living , high thinking & service provided by him in real sense is the most fascinating thing . Human welfare along with animal & environment service pioneered by him is ideal example for us . His influence has made our life happy & prosperous.

                          Baba Hardasram was born at Halani & Bhilani in sindh (pakistan) on 4^th december 1904 , in a middle class family. Saburamji was the name of his father,he was a businessman. His mother’s name was Rijkandevi. He spent his childhood in his own village & took  the primary education also in that village . Baba was very simple /innocent since his childhood . His elder brother ,Bhai Narayandas ,who was very  generous & great worshipper of god had great  influence on the childhood of Baba Hardasram.

While Learning in primary school Baba had complained about his teacher to his grandmother. The teacher had rigorously punished him due to the complaint. He had to stand up barefooted for the whole day in the sun. He accepted the punishment realising his fault heartly. He accepted it to such an extent that he accepted every good-bad, happinesss-sorrow with smiling face for the  whole life. He never complained about anything to anybody. This only became the principle of Babas lightful life . He learnt lessons of patience, service & truth in the school only which moduled his life & character. He was appointed as a teacher very after his secondary education was over but he was always lost in the worship of god .He settle down. He thought that  god can be intensively met(obtained/found)only through a guru , so he intensively felt to find a guru(teacher). Meanwhile he had heard about great Sant Kanwarram Saheb & his qualities manytimes at various places.         Sant Kanwarram was a great saint & famous vocalist of sindh .Only coincidently he met the guru who also identified this diamond and crystalised him in such a manner that he became the gem of sindh.It is well known About Sant Kanwarram that with two & a quarter kilogram ghunghuru tied on his foot he sang & danced for twelve hours & more. He served the poor , wretched, handicapped over night. He distributed the cash, gold, jewellary & presents received from the devotees immediately among the poor. He himself earned his living.

                        Once,he met immortal Saint Kanwarram saheb for the first time on station .On the same day he accepted him as a guru & dedicated himself at his feet and requested him to accept him as a disciple ,which gave a direction to his life. To obey the teachers order became the aim of his life .He was totally dedicated to the service of the guru. According to the order of guru he spent 12 years of servive at auspicious Rahadki Saheb Badi Devri due to which he became the dearest disciple of guru. People called him darvesh  a saint & invited him to their homes. Baba went to all whoever invited him & gave the message of servive to birds, animals, & old , helpless, the poor .             He never stayed at a single place but always wondered . If  someone insisted him to sit  near him, he told him to go by vehicle  & he would see him later. Many experienced persons say that Baba reached the place before the other came. He served almost all temples & holy shrines in sindh. Name of the guru was always on his tongue. Meanwhile some people shot Sant Kanwarram Saheb  dead . He became a martyre it was shocking to the whole nation. Baba was also deeply sorrowful due to this, after some time another mishop of partition of nation took place. Almost all had to leave the motherland,sindh &had to come india. Baba also came to india. His family settled in Ahmedabad, Ahemednagar where he met Master Ramprasad  who brought him to Shri Ram Seva Mandal in sindhi colony of jalgaon(maharashtra,india) in 1957. People experienced auspicious signals as soon as Baba teached the land here. So all the  devotees requested him to settle here only taking into considerations  of this place but Baba put two proposals : that the colony should be named as Sant Kanwarram Nagar & mandal should be named as Amar Shahid Sant Kanwarram Seva Mandal. Both the proposals were accepted unanimously. The fate of this city started shining from that day only Godharidiwale  Sant Baba Hardasram Saheb himself carried out many tasks of public welfare here. Akhand dhuni saheb, Akhand jyot saheb,Akhand Jal Saheb Akhand Bhandara,Akhand Katha Kirtan Shankarji as well as Bajarangbali temple ,Gurudwara,food for the poor, katha kirtan & Ram dhuni vrudhashram(home for old people) &service of the guest as well as devotees &such tasks of service were started  in Pujya Seva Mandal jalgaon. Like sindh, people were given message of service without expectations  to every corner of country.Situations of sindhi community in jalgaon was very poor at that time . How can those dream of cultured, educated &honourable future, who do not even have full clothes on their bodies? but also to fulfill this dream in company &blessings of Baba. Sindhi climbed so high peaks with Baba’s guidance which is impossible for other communities .To continue these task as usual Sant Kanwarram Seva Mandal trust jalgaon(maharashtra,india) was founded &registered in 1966.Versi melautsav was started to observe the anniversary of guru which strengthened social unity. Within a short time, Pujya Sant Amar Shahid Kanwarram Seva Mandal received appraisal as a pilgrimage. People all over the country started coming here with desires in their hearts. Their desires started fulfilling ,where people started serving  in pujya seva mandal’s as navratra utsav.They offered service without any expectations .The fame & eminence of this place spread all over. On 18/10/1977, Baba sacrificed(gave away)his life. He passed away it moved all the people but his ideals were before us .Though such a great saint is not among us physically but his inspirations are always with us . It is very well proved through the service ,task going here even today.
